UNIBEN has once again witnessed violent murder in space of two weeks as a 300-level Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) student of the University was on Tuesday night shot dead in the
Edo State capital. Previously on 24th October, A 300-level Chemistry student of the university, Ejiroghene Gbenedio, was hacked to death with a battle axe
It was gathered that the victim, James was
shot dead at Ekosodin,
a satellite community of the Ugbowo campus of the university.
His corpse was sighted in a white police Hilux van at the Accident
and Emergency Ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) yesterday morning. According to Sun News, The white T-Shirt and lemon knickers he wore were soaked in blood, while his head was shattered.
