Sack Paradew, demands Newcastle fans

A number of supporters are upset that the club did
not elect to dismiss the Magpies boss, who was
fined and suspended over the incident
Alan Pardew should have been sacked for his
"cowardly" headbutt on David Meyler , according to
a Newcastle United campaign group.
The Football Association (FA) imposed a seven-
match ban on the Magpies boss on Tuesday,
following his altercation with the Hull City midfielder.
Subsequently, the former West Ham boss will serve
a three-game stadium ban on matchdays and will
not be allowed on the touchline for a further four
matches.
Pardew was fined £60,000 (€72,000) by the FA and
£100,000 (€120,000) by Newcastle for his
behaviour.
Kevin Moore, founder of the 'United for Newcastle'
supporter group, believes the punishment does not
go far enough and feels Pardew should have paid
for his misdemeanour with his job.
"In my personal opinion, he should have been
sacked for the offence," Moore told Perform.
"I don't want to see anyone representing my
football club do something like that, especially the
manager of a football club, so I would have liked to
see him sacked to be honest.
"It [the ban] is justifiable for what he did. At the end
of the day regardless of player, fan or manager, any
level of football club you just can't do what he did.
Especially considering you're meant to be a role
model to young kids.
"Any manager that does something like that, their
reputation goes out of the window. If you did that in
the street you'd be arrested, so why wasn't Alan
Pardew arrested at the same time?
"It [his reputation] will be tarnished, so rightly it
should be. It was a cowardly act."
Moore feels Pardew's indiscretion is one in a series
of incidents to blight the club and believes
Newcastle's image has been spoilt as a result.
He has called for change from top to bottom,
including owner Mike Ashley, though he concedes
that is unlikely to happen.
"Without a shadow of a doubt [the club's reputation
is tarnished]," he added. "At the start [of Ashley's
tenure] it was okay, but since then it's been
laughing stock after laughing stock, now it's coming
down to the manager.
"It's becoming tedious to be honest, and the club is
being portrayed in a bad way. The club has a lot of
history and a lot of tradition and at the moment it
doesn't seem to be there. There's no soul and heart
in the football club. It's disappointing.
"We've needed change [for a while]. It builds on
everything they've done since taking over at the
club. It's one thing after another and it's time for
them all to go. Unfortunately they're here for the
long run."

Benue Commissioner is dead

MAKURDI — Benue State Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr. Conrad Wergba is dead.
Wergba’s death was announced on state radio, Thursday, morning in Makurdi, by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. David Salifu.
Salifu said, that Wergba died, Wednesday, in an Indian hospital where he had been undergoing treatment, in the last few weeks, for an undisclosed ailment.
The late Wergba who was a one time Commissioner for Information, hailed from Ushongo Local Government Area. He also served as Adviser to Governor Gabriel Suswam on Policy just as he served as Special Assistant on  Special Duties to Suswam’s predecessor, Senator George Akume. Left to mourn him are his wife, Mrs. Theresa Wergba and two children

APGA denies alliance with Rochas Okorocha

 

The leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State  has denied  any alliance with the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, contrary to the impression allegedly created by the Governor that his administration has a cordial relationship with the party.

The party in statement made available to newsmen in Owerri yesterday, and jointly signed by the state chairman, Dr. Emeka Ukaegbu; national deputy chairman, Chris Uche and the chairman of the national caucus of the party, Simeon Udunka, said that neither the national nor state leadership of the party under Maxi Okwu has any working relationship with Governor Okorocha. It stated that, “His Excellency, Rochas Anayo Okorocha,  has insidiously continued to create deceitful impression of cordial  relationship with the APGA leadership of Barrister Maxi Okwu to the prejudice of national fellowship and the credibility of the party”.

The party stated that it supported media reports credited to the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief E.N Igariwey, that Governor Okorocha has no credible claim to Igbo leadership.

President Goodluck sack Sports Minister

President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked  the Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi of his job.
Dr. Tamuwo Danago, one of the 11 newly sworn in ministers, has therefore been directed to take over from Abdullahi.
Mr President also assigned portfolios to the new ministers after they took their oaths of offices at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

You have to repent from your sins before you start thinking of converting another person, Muoka will climb the altar and list the things people should not do, but he does evil things behind close doors. Before now, he was using me to fight against other members who were fed up with his atrocities and evil deeds. For instance, when he was fighting with Everest Ofuegbu, he gave me money to write against him which I did, I returned to the church and he was asking me why I did not write that Ofuegbu was an armed robber, kidnapper and killer? He fought me in his office because of this issue. I called him, pastor, how can I write a false story against an innocent man. My conscience started disturbing me over the false story that I wrote against Ofuegbu, but he didn’t care about that, all that mattered to him was that I didn’t accuse Ofuegbu wrongly. What manner of a man of God can engage in such things? If Muoka is a man of God, what provision does he have for the poor, widows, needy and helpless? I was one of his “catchers” who he uses to teach mugus. I call them mugus because Muoka is a businessman and he uses these people and dumps them. Then, he will send us to tell people during crusade rally that there is feeding, housing, transport, all your sicknesses will go and all kinds of basic needs are available in Lord’sChosen. On their way coming, there will be different kinds of auto crashes and many will die. When the lucky ones finally come to the church for the Lord’s abundance, they will work away worse. That is because between Saturday & Sunday, Lazarus Muoka will brainwash them and they will sow seed with everything that they have and become stranded. Many will sow N1 million, others N500,000 till you see people who will give out their transport money because they have been told that if you sow your valuables, close your account, drop the last money in your pocket, God will bless you. Towards the evening time, he will send his pastors to start flogging this helpless people and throw them out from the church premises. On Monday morning after Saturday and Sunday, Muoka and Pastor Leo, the former Chief Security Officer, will start chasing people away from the compound. I was present one Monday morning when a man on the wheel chair was abandoned, Muoka and Pastor Leo were doing their normal routine of chasing people away, and he asked Leo, “are you that man on the wheel chair?” I saw it and know everything because I was an insider. So, he told Leo, ‘Don’t you know that if people see this man on the wheel chair, they will say what we are preaching and practicing here is not true, please go and tell that man to leave or flog him. ‘Do you know that long cane? That is what they use to force helpless and stranded Nigerians out of Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Renewal Mission. Poor people are thrashed and forced out of the church, is that the way a man of God should behave? He took me to the PRO, Human, State CID, alleging that I want to kidnap him, he finally took me to court, is that the way a man of God should behave?

President Goodluck Father's kidnappers demand N500 million

Kidnappers of Chief Inegite Nitabai, foster father of President Goodluck Jonathan have demanded ransom of N500million from the family. The abductors had kept the family of their victim in suspense when they refused to contact the family to make any demands after the kidnap.

A family source said the kidnappers called a family member and passed on their demand, warning that they should not involve security operatives in negotiations or attempt to rescue the victim.

According to the family source the demand has created panic among family members following the threat by the abductors to kill their victim if they employ delay tactics.

A reliable security source said the family had constituted a committee to evaluate the demand of the kidnappers and commence negotiations with them to ensure his early release because of his health

“The kidnappers contacted the family four days after and demanded a whooping sum of N500m. It is believed that the family of the victim has begun negotiations with the hoodlums”, he said.

Checks indicated that the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Col Bernard Kenebai (rtd) is working with a joint team of security team of security operatives to ensure the release of Nitabai.

A source said Kenebai and his team are on the trail of the kidnappers and would soon get them.

Resolve Computer Shutdown Problems

1) open start menu and type "regedit" (without
qoutes) and press Enter.
2) This opens up the Registry Editor.
3) Make sure to backup you Registry before you
continue. (To do so, Click "File" and then "Export"
and give any name to your backup file).
4) Go to the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager
5) Once opened, on the right side , check for
"BootExecute" entry. Double-Clcik on it.
6) Delete all of its "Value Data" part and write the
following into it:
autocheck autochk *
and press OK.
7) Now, "RESTART" (Dont press SHUTDOWN) your
computer.
8) After successful restart, press SHUTDOWN
button.
It should now shutdown you computer as before.
